They have come to warn us, these women.They have come because we will not help ourselves. We cannot hear the messages given us every single day from those who suffer at our hands.

We need a translator, a medium. Someone to tell us what our victims are saying. Someone who will convince them not to leave before we can make amends.

Chau and Edana have sent letters all over the United States, trying to find this great communicator. Decades have gone by without a single response. They have all but given up hope.

Then seven people write back, at the same time.  They never contracted the seventh.

They have come to warn us.
